A Reason to Live

“ ‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the LORD, ‘though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool.’ ” (Isaiah 1:18)

Only an unreasonable man refuses to inherit eternity.  We entrust our temporary fading life here to an infinitely kind God, and in exchange, we receive forgiveness for our darkest failings and immortal joy.

Our Creator refuses to force heaven upon us, but if we will only consent to obey Him, our yoke can become easy and light.  His offer seems more than reasonable.

“Come to Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
