“Pick me up and throw me into the sea. Then the sea will become calm for you, for I know that on account of me this great storm has come upon you.” (Jonah 1:12)
Jonah’s sin affected the others on the boat he fled on. The storm came for Jonah, but the waves rocked all their lives.
Conversely, was there a single life that was not made better by Jesus’ presence? Even the traitor Judas, enjoyed the privileges and protection of His presence.
Our lives can bless those around us or curse them. No man is an island, we are on this ship together.
