“For out of Jerusalem will go forth a remnant, and out of Mount Zion survivors. The zeal of the LORD will perform this.” (2 Kings 19:31)
God has always kept a remnant. No matter how dark the world or how great the #trialbyfire, there is always someone left behind to glorify Him. In the days of Hezekiah, Assyria assailed them, but God saved a remnant to go on.
In the days of Babylon, there was a remnant that returned after seventy years of captivity.
There were 7,000 that didn’t bend their knee to Baal in the days of Elijah.
A remnant remained even when the early church was carried off to the colosseums at sword point.
I’m not worried about the church. It is His church and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.
There is no question that He always saves a remnant. The question is… will I be part of it?
