Two Are Better Than One

“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” (Pr 17:17)

We must always seek to do better in this.  Leaning into the hard things of each other’s lives.  A healthy church is less about what social events people go to and more about what hospital visits are being made, the shut-ins that are being helped, the broken-hearted that are invited over.  These things indicate a healthy love.

Christian love is not frivolous.  It sits down and drinks the cup of another man’s trials.  We cannot truly say we are behaving as brethren until we begin to stand by each other through the heartaches and the pains.
