Trained for Life

“He trains my hands for battle so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” (2 Sam 22:35)

A good trainer knows exactly how far to push an athlete to get the most out of him or her.  They know when to expect more, when to rest and recover, and they are able to see what an athlete is capable of – oftentimes more than the athlete themselves can.

Nobody is a better trainer for life than the One who created life.  You will find yourself doing things, enduring things, and building things you once would never have imagined yourself capable of if you will give your life into His hands.  If you fully commit to His plan – the plan will work.  Trust the program.  God shapes the best people.

“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” (Php 2:12-13)
