The Two Paths to Wisdom

“I have more insight than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation.  I understand more than the aged because I have observed Your precepts.” (Ps 119:99-100)

There are two ways to gain wisdom in life – the easy way and the hard way.  The hard way involves a lot of failure and recovery.  It also is a guess-and-check method for growth.  You never know what works until you’ve tried it.  That is why older people naturally have more wisdom – they’ve had the time to fail and recover many times.

But there is an easier way.  Learn from the Maker.  Meditate on His Word and follow His path.  The easy way involves a lot more humility, but a lot less heartache.
