The Journey to Glory

“Indeed, if a man should live many years, let him rejoice in them all, and let him remember the days of darkness, for they will be many.  Everything that is to come will be futility.” (Ecclesiastes 11:8)

The man best equipped to find joy in this life is the one who doesn’t find his identity in this world.  Tragedy and heartache are part of the cost of doing business down here on Earth.  We hurt, we suffer, and we endure through dark days… but there is so much more to life than now.  Eternity awaits and the person that can see that is capable of learning to take every day in stride as part of the journey that brings them ever closer to glory.
