“He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its income. This too is vanity.” (Ecclesiastes 5:10)
There is a difference between a life of luxury and a life of satisfaction. No amount of trinkets is capable of creating meaning. Yet, a life of responsibility and discipline brings with it enduring satisfaction, even though these character traits often are accompanied with sacrifice and loss.
What you have and how happy you are with it are different things.
