Running Out of Options

“Lord, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength…” (2 Chronicles 14:11)

The harder the problem the narrower your options for salvation become.  Maybe the reason we run out of options is so that we will stop looking to other sources for strength.  When we have reached zero, we turn to Him.

We shouldn’t consider our lack of strength a problem when we remember that it was never how strong we were that mattered in the first place.  Our courage shouldn’t come from our own power, but from His.

“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” (Proverbs 28:1)
