Open to Critique

“Better is open rebuke than love that is concealed.” (Proverbs 27:6)

A friend who would let you burn down your life just so they don’t have to feel the heat is an acquaintance, not a companion.

When we consider the courage it takes to tell someone they are wrong, we begin to empathize with the friend who loves us enough to risk the relationship to protect us.

Stop surrounding yourself with yes-men.  Remember, Peter once had his best friend call him “Satan”.  Criticism is a necessary part of the growth process.
