“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel.” (Pr 12:15)
You can be wrong, and you will be wrong… but nobody thinks they are. Be highly suspicious of your own confidence. The fool never considers himself foolish. It is only the wise man that realizes that he can learn something from anybody.
Many people never become Christians because they won’t accept that they could be wrong. Even worse, many Christians never grow because they won’t continue the process of repentance from error they started their life of faith with.
“Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.” (1 Cor 10:12)
