Lead With Gratitude

“And David realized that the LORD had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.” (2 Sam 5:12)

Great leaders recognize that their position is a gift.  As David’s reign as king gained prosperity and success, David realized the source of his security and honor.  God had blessed David and giving him unique opportunities to shepherd Israel.

All we have is from God.  If you are in a position of influence.  An employer, a parent, a spouse, a friend.  If you are considered a leader by anybody and in any circumstance – it is a gift from God.  Lead with selflessness.  Lead with gratitude.  Lead with character.

“And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.” (Mk 9:35)
