“I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants begging bread.” (Ps 37:25)
God gives His people enough. It may at times feel like barely enough, but He guarantees us enough. So take a deep breath and remember that it is all going to be okay. It may be a long winter, but the storehouses won’t run out.
As an aside, Psalm 37 may be one of the most comforting psalms in all the Bible for God’s people when they are anxious. I highly recommend taking the time to read it in its entirety, and if you are thinking, “I don’t have time to do that, I’ve got so much to do right now!”… I double down on my advice.
