“Also, do not take seriously all words which are spoken, so that you will not hear your servant cursing you. For you also have realized that you likewise have many times cursed others.” (Ecclesiastes 7:21-22)
People say stupid things. Don’t let your attitude be dictated by what others say about you. It will drive you insane if you try to live as a people-pleaser.
Do your best and then just let stuff roll off your back. All of us say dumb things and could use a little grace in that regard.
