Hands Made For Helping

“How blessed is he who considers the helpless; the LORD will deliver him in a day of trouble.” (Ps 41:1)

You will find no more rewarding task in life than helping those who cannot repay or reward you. Helping the helpless is the purest form of service to God and it will teach you more about what life really is about, what is really important, and why you are here than any other exercise of your faith.

Considering those who have no way of repaying and are truly in need will flex a multiplicity of spiritual “muscles” all at once and train your heart and mind for greater things – not to mention that it will bring great joy to your Father in heaven. If you want to grow in Christ, this is the fastest route… guaranteed.

“Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” (Jas 1:27)
