When David spared Saul’s life it was because of his value system. David treating Saul the way he wanted God to treat him. It wasn’t about Saul, it was about God. For Saul, his rivalry was always about himself and David.
For David, it was never between him and Saul – it was between him and Jehovah. Live like it’s about God.
