“Great are Your mercies, O LORD; revive me according to Your ordinances.” (Ps 119:156)
We revive someone that is near death or incapacitated. The commandments of God aren’t just for how to stay out of trouble, they are the path back to life for when we are in trouble. All Scripture is God-breathed and that breath of life is exactly what our soul needs to be revived when we stand on the brink. There is a road back to life after sin. It’s a hard road, but not an impossible one.
“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” (Jhn 6:63)
