“If the ruler’s temper rises against you, do not abandon your position, because composure allays great offenses.” (Ecclesiastes 10:4)
No matter what – don’t abandon your post. A person that will stick with it, work hard, and do their job even when criticized is worth keeping around. All bosses have bad days and get mad about things, and sometimes their ire might even be justified if you made a mistake – but hang in there. Hard work works. One failure doesn’t define you.
Those that can handle criticism rise to the top.
