Something doesn’t have to be sinful to be worthless. Worth is that which adds value… therefore, worthlessness is merely something that does not add value to your life.
We are warned against being distracted from the task at hand – living as a spiritual being called by a heavenly calling (see 2 Tim 2:4 and Heb 3:1). There are so many things that shine, shimmer, blink, and chime in this world that have absolutely no redeeming value in light of that eternal purpose.
Do not let yourself become mired down in the mundane. Happen to life.
