A True Creator

“I know that everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take from it, for God has so worked that men should fear Him.” (Ecclesiastes 3:14)

Humanity is incapable of creating anything new.  That which we deem to be new is in fact, just a recombination and repurposing of that which has already been created.  We can subdue the ground and use it for crops, but we did not create the ground, nor did we create the crops.  Even the technological revolution is simply a repurposing of gold, sand and quartz to create circuit boards and computer chips.  We did not create these things, we have merely learn how to use them in innovative ways.

True creation is the act of making something from nothing – and only God can do that.  We mortals merely fiddle around down here with that which came from His grand imagination.  We never add to nor take away from His glory.
